THIS KNOWLEDGE CAN ONLY BE PROVIDED BY IDENTIFYING THE FUNDAMENTALS THAT OUTLINE THE REPAIR PROCESS. THE INTERACTION BETWEEN DISSIMILAR MATRIX MATERIALS, WHICH WOULD ALLOW WIDER SUBSTITUTION OF COMPATIBLE MATERIALS IN STRUCTURAL REPAIRS, HAS BEEN IDENTIFIED AS THE FIRST FUNDAMENTAL STEP.
