This seminar introduces how readily available, and accessible, 3D printing, also known as additive manufacturing, may be used to quickly turn ideas of components and products into physical reality. The speakers will describe the choices of modelling software and variety of plastics that are employed to swiftly move from concept through to prototyping and production. The seminar will provide applications of additive manufacturing to several real world applications including fans, controls, building automation and heat exchangers for HVAC systems.
