About This Item

Full Description

This specification covers a titanium alloy in the form of bars, wire, flash welded rings, and stock for flash welded rings.

These products have been used typically for parts requiring high strength and toughness and good creep resistance up to 1000 \mDF (538 \mDC), but usage is not limited to such applications.

Certain processing procedures and service conditions may cause these products to become subject to stress-corrosion cracking. ARP 982 recommends practices to minimize such conditions.
