The objective of this project is to describe thecontributions ASHRAE and its members have made to society, and assess theimpacts and value of ASHRAE Standards and technology. These contributions areclassified into five major categories: (1) building energy efficiency; (2)human health and comfort; (3) environmental aspects; (4) industry and commerce;and (5) engineering education. This is the report for "Category One: ASHRAE’sImpact on Building Energy Efficiency."
