The manufacturer must submit for approval by the Inspecting Officer a tender sample (3 one pint containers) which, if the tender is accepted, will constitute the standard. The manufacturer must also submit for approval full details of the composition of the tender sample in percentages by weight, including details of the pigment, non-volatile vehicle and volatile matter and of the approximate minimum Fe2O3 content of the yellow ochre employed.
