Energy service companies (ESCOs), ESCO customers, utilities and others can use these measurements before the sale or lease of energy-efficient equipment to determine post-transaction savings. These measurements can also be used to document energy savings for various credit programs, such as emission reduction credits associated with energy efficiency activities.
