While methods for evaluating the energy efficiency and financialperformance of energy efficiency measures are widespread in the engineeringprofession, a common framework for evaluating the overall impact of new energyinfrastructure technologies is rarely, if ever, used. This article proposes amethod by which consulting engineers can provide insights for the requestedenvironmental-impact evaluation of new products and technologies.
