This is the first edition of CAN/CSA-ISO 50006, Energy management systems - Measuring energy performance using energy baselines (EnB) and energy performance indicators (EnPI) - General principles and guidance, which is an adoption without modification of the identically titled ISO (International Organization for Standardization) Standard 50006 (first edition, 2014-12-15).

For brevity, this Standard will be referred to as "CAN/CSA-ISO 50006" throughout.

This International Standard provides guidance to organizations on how to establish, use, and maintain energy performance indicators (EnPIs) and energy baselines (EnBs) as part of the process of measuring energy performance.
