Full Description

This standard applies to one-component compounds that cure to a rubber-like solid and are suitable for sealing, caulking or glazing applications.

The compounds are intended for use on clean, dry frost-free substrates within the air temperature range of 5 to 30°C. (Some products may be applied within an air temperature range of -30 to 40°C. Check with the manufacturer before attempting to use in this extended temperature range.)

The standard classifies the compound according to substrate of major use, rheological properties, movement, suitability for glazing and extrusion temperature.
