This paper gives fundamental information about the seven types of air pollution control systems most frequently encountered in industrial applications. A brief description and flow diagram for each system giving details covering applicability, operating parameters, design considerations and materials of construction is presented. Also, information on instrumentation and controls for both dry and wet air pollution control systems is included.
