This Standard is limited to dimensions and capacities for carbon steel and corrosion-resistant stainless steel,
forged threaded eyebolts intended primarily for lifting applications. For carbon steel construction, the sizes are
limited to ¼ in. through 2½ in., and for corrosion-resistant stainless steel construction, the sizes are limited to ¼ in. through 1½ in.
This Standard covers the following types and styles:
- (a) Type 1, plain pattern (straight shank) (1) Style A, long length
- (b) Type 2, shoulder pattern (1) Style A, long length
(2) Style B, short length
(2) Style B, short length
