Full Description

The purpose of this standard is to establish a method of qualifying reverberant rooms for measurement in the 63 Hz octave band to permit the extension of sound power determinations at frequency levels below those covered in ANSI Standards S12.31 and S12.32. This standard applies to products rated in the 63 Hz octave band where the sound power is determined by measurement in a reverberant room per ANSI Standards S12.31 and S12.32.
