About This Item
Full Description
ASHRAE Standard 17 prescribes a method of testing the capacity of thermostatic expansion valves for use in air-conditioning and refrigeration systems.
The 2015 edition of ASHRAE Standard 17 changes the refrigerant used in example calculations from R-22 to R-410A and includes updated references.
NOTE: This standard does not specify test conditions. AHRI Standard 750 specifies test conditions and can be used to obtain standard ratings for thermostatic refrigerant expanding valves.
