THE FRINGE PROJECTION TECHNIQUE CAN BE APPLIED TO GEOMETRY CHARACTERIZATION SUCH AS RADIUS MEASUREMENT. THE MAJOR ADVANTAGE IS THAT MORE IMAGE POINTS ALONG THE DETECTED EDGE CAN BE UTILIZED TO REDUCE MEASUREMENT ERRORS SO THAT THE MEASUREMENT CAN BE MORE ACCURATE AND PRECISE.
