ASHRAE’s new president says that buildings are falling short on operating to the expectations of the building designers and operators for a multitude of reasons including that operators often don’t have the skills to operate today’s buildings and are not always properly oriented at turnover. The president says that ASHRAE members can play a large role to promote operational performance using some simple strategies.
