Thermodynamic property data for this particular system were studied for several reasons. No data were found in the literature for a mixture of these two components. (It is noted that the Russian Maslyennikova et al did some work with the systems nitrogen-R12 and nitrogen-R22, and the American Balaban worked with the system nitrogen-R13.) Also, these types of mixtures may be useful in low temperature refrigerator systems. The initial purpose of the investigation was to develop a dew- and bubble-point apparatus which would not necessarily yield large amounts of data in a short time but would yield accurate data whose errors GOuld be analyzed and presented in detail.
