1. SCOPE
1.1 This standard practice establishes requirements for copper-nickel socket-welding fittings, NPS ¼ through 12, (or as noted), for use with pipe manufactured to one of the following standards:
1.3 Fittings manufactured in accordance to this Standard Practice may be produced from castings, forgings, bar, pipe, tube, or plate by forming, machining, or a combination of the two.
1.4 Fittings manufactured in accordance to this Standard Practice may be produced with one or more NPT threaded-end configurations that properly adapt to threaded pipe or the piping component.

- ASTM B466
- ASTM B467
