About This Item

Full Description

Some experts contend geothermal heat pump ground loop overheating will occur for buildings with imbalances in cooling and heating loads. Overheating has been avoided in some warmer climates. The author focuses on how pumps must be small and turned off when the units are not running. It is a lesson learned by several Texas school systems that has resulted in lower operating costs, cooler ground loops, and reduced installation costs.
