About This Item

Full Description

The performance characteristics of a chilled water system at part load are dependent upon the number of centrifugal chillers on the system and the individual components of the chiller (compressor, heat exchangers, controls, and availability of a hot gas bypass system). Other parameters are load (including minimum load required) leaving chilled water temperature, and entering condenser water temperature.

This discussion will cover the relative effect of the above parameters on the percent of full load power.
