IES TM-23-17 is intended to serve as a basic resource for lighting designers and specifiers integrating control into their projects. The information provided is intended to assist coordination and collaboration with other design and construction disciplines to successfully integrate lighting control into other building systems, resulting in more efficient, and healthier, buildings. The technologies for lighting control and building system interoperability are many and actively evolving, so this document should be seen as a starting point for a greater understanding of the range of possibilities for lighting control and interoperability.
