About This Item

Full Description

This is a revision to a document in a series of standards developed to inform users and OEMs about potential radiation hazards associated with lamps and lamp systems. "Photobiological Safety for Lamps Risk Group Classification Labeling" covers classifications and labeling requirements for lamps in the 200 to 3,000 nanometer wavelength, and defines emission limits for each risk group classification to be used on lamp packaging. Guidance is supplied on the proper categorization and informational requirements so sources may be properly applied.
