The objective of this document is to provide information relative to the edge effects on laminated glass due to moisture, solvents, standing water, caulks, sealants, tapes, gaskets, setting blocks and glass cleaning solutions on laminated glazing edges. Recommendations are provided to maximize durability, performance and aesthetics of the laminated glazing. The original version of this document was approved and published in 2015.
