Full Description
Research Project 1455-RP was initiated todevelop "best of class" HVAC system control sequences. This first phaseincluded developing optimized control sequences for air distribution andterminal subsystems including single zone VAV AHUs, multiple-zone VAV AHUs, anda variety of VAV terminal units, including single-duct, dual-duct, andfan-powered. These sequences were derived from controls specificationssubmitted by research partners including engineering consultants, governmentinstitutions, and academic researchers and are planned to be part of Guideline36, High Performance Sequences of Operation for HVAC Systems.
