AVESTA 25-22-2LN is a stronger, more corrosion resistant austenitic stainless than AVESTA 17-15-2.5L (see Alloy Digest SS 501). It is designed for use in equipment subject to the most corrosive conditions encountered in the production of urea. At 570 F (300 C) it has about a 35% higher yield strength than 17-15-2.5L.
