About This Item
Full Description
This standard falls under the Standards Committee classification of a standard method of measurement or test.
This standard prescribes a method of testing for capacity of self-contained, mechanically refrigerated, drinking-water coolers. This standard does not specify the test conditions to be used for obtaining the standard rating. This is normally done in a rating standard developed by a separate organization such as an industry association.
This standard, which is a revision of the standard originally published in 1979, incorporates more detailed information on instrumentation tolerances.
