This part of the SAA Boiler Welding Certification Code specifies the pre-examination qualifications and tests required for the certification of welders engaged in the welding of high alloy i.e. above 6 per cent alloy content, steel pressure pipes using any one of the following processes: manual metal arc; manual TIG; semi-automatic MIG; and any combination of those.
