About This Item

Full Description

This Standard provides for a series of carbon steel, alloy steel, cast iron and copper alloy flanges, and also appropriate bolting, for use with pipes, valves and fittings containing steam, oil, compressed air, water or other fluids for which the same requirements for safety and joint tightness are appropriate. (This Standard is in effect, a reprinting of BS 10:1962, with three published amendments included. The layout has been rearranged to be more in keeping with current Australian standards practice, and the references to BS materials have been replaced by the corresponding Australian standards (where these exist) and it also includes reference to ASTM materials widely used in Australia.)
