Applies to non-ferrous control plug cocks of nominal size 4 in. to 2 in. with BSP threads, internally threaded one end and externally threaded the other end, suitable for use in gas installations in which the pressure of gas does not normally exceed 10 in. water gauge. It specifies materials, construction details, marking, and strength and pressure tests. Appendices deal with design of gas-ways and the procedure for the strength test.
