Reports a compilation of experimental data and predictive methods for viscosities, thermal conductivities and surface tension of halogenated pure and mixed refrigerants. Uses the measured data as a basis for testing the predictive methods in the literature for consistency, validity and applicability in estimating properties of specifically halogenated refrigerants. Presents the major conclusions from the report. States that the combination of experimental data and prediction methods would be sufficient to help engineers and researchers in the refrigeration field to design and develop new equipment using ozone-safe pure and mixed refrigerants.
