Full Description

Scope

This Standard defines rules and methods for the exchange of information between networks implementing IEC 61850 and IEEE Std 1815 by describing the following: --Methods for mapping run-time information between the IEEE 1815 devices and the IEC 61850 devices through a gateway. The methods for doing this are described in clauses 6, 7 and 8. --Methods for automating configuration of a gateway using an IEC 61850 configuration file and a DNP3-XML file. The methods for doing are described in clause 9. Within the capability of each protocol, some configuration attributes (IEC 61850-7-3 attributes with functional constraint FC) are also mapped in addition to the operational real-time data.

Purpose

To provide the correct version of Figure 52. An incorrect version of Figure 52 was provided in the initial ballot version 4.00. The figure was then accidentally deleted in subsequent versions

Abstract

Corrigendum Standard - Active. The editing instructions for this corrigendum are to insert a diagram as Figure 52 in the place where it is 19 currently missing from the approved but unpublished document in Clause 8.11.6.1.6 (NOTE: This corrigendum was not published as a separate document, but was incorporated in IEEE Std 1815.1-2015)
