About This Item

Full Description

The experiments described were conducted in a model chamber that had a cooled lower zone and a thermally stratified upper zone. Space air-temperature profiles were measured to discover their characteristics as influenced by chamber roof height, light height, supply air temperature and volume, high-level exhaust air fraction, and various combinations of roof, floor, and lighting load intensities.

The results are discussed, and a set of qualitative conclusions are formulated concerning the influence of each variable on the measured temperatures.
