Full Description

The aim of this paper is to describe our experiences on radiant cooling technology applied to a Latin-America country, particularly to Mexico. It will try to prove the potential of the technology on this kind of climate, the problems encountered during the design and construction process and the end results and for the final user experiences. Generally, radiant cooling and heating for residential applications is a good system for moderate temperate climates (as it is the Mexican highlands), since heating and cooling can be obtained from the same system, using a low energy device as awater to air heat pump [1]. For office buildings however, the technology still shows limited capacity.
