With tightening energy codes and a push towards energy efficient and sustainable design, the move to adopt high performance glazing is growing. With this movement fabricators may want to adopt new technologies, such as vacuum insulating glazing (VIG), into their production mix. This GTP highlights areas within the fabrication process that may differ from standard IGU production when incorporating fully fabricated VIGs into an existing line to create hybrid VIGs (HVIG).
