This standard applies to a seamless floor system which consists of a hard granular aggregate (such as ceramic coated quartz) broadcast into an epoxy resin base and finished with a clear topcoat of urethane, epoxy or polyester resin, depending on end use requirements.

This type of flooring is intended for interior use in institutional and commercial applications.
