1. Scope
1.1 General This Standard provides requirements for the design of building structures of plain and reinforced masonry in accordance with the National Building Code of Canada. Note: Requirements for masonry construction and masonry connectors are provided in CSA Standards CAN3-A371-M and CAN3- A370-M, respectively. Both Standards include requirements that affect the design.
