1.1 This Standard defines magnetic field requirements for all handset telephones intended to couple magnetically with hearing aids.

1.2 This Standard also covers requirements for receive-amplified h andset telephones intended for use by the hard of hearing.

1.3 This Standard does not cover other devices for the hard of hearin g to use the telephone network.
