Bare diameters 0.0060-0.016 in. Enamelled wire to BS 156:Part 1. Single or double cotton coverings in fine or ordinary thicknesses. Optional chemical tests for purity of cotton: conductivity and pH of water extract, water-soluble matter, ether-soluble matter, acid value and saponification value of ether extract. Elongation and overall diameter of the covered wire and the increase in diameter due to the cotton covering.
