This slide presentation outlines an experience by the Halifax Regional Water Commission with the concept of Balanced Corporate Scorecard, a methodology to measure organizational performance. Topics covered include: the process of developing a scorecard; critical success factors; organizational indicators; incentive compensation strategies; Organizational Performance (OP) Award Program; and, discussion of critical success factors linked to OP Award that include high quality water, service excellence, stewardship of infrastructure and environment, and responsible financial management.
