UNS No. T30402 is an air-hardening high-carbon, high-chromium cold-work die steel that offers excellent wear resistance. It is a deep-hardening steel but hardens with a minimum change in size and volume. Typical uses are cold-work dies, slitting cutters, shear blades and wood-working tools.
