This unique thesaurus is an important tool for indexing and searching in the fields of information science and librarianship and is a superb guide to the terminology in these disciplines. The thesaurus includes over thirteen hundred preferred terms, 691 nonpreferred terms, and 37 facet indicators. Scope notes and definitions of ambiguous terms are given. An alphabetical listing, a hierarchical listing, and a rotated (KWIC) listing add flexibility to this new publication.
