About This Item

Full Description

This test method covers determination of slump flow of self-consolidating concrete (SCC), both in the laboratory and in the field. SCC is defined as a highly workable concrete that can flow through densely reinforced or complex structural elements under its own weight without vibration and adequately fill voids without experiencing segregation or excessive bleeding.

This method agrees technically with C39/C 39M-05 except for the use of SI units, and C 39 provides qualification restrictions for concrete laboratory technicians performing acceptance tests.
