About This Item

Full Description

This standard provides a test method for evaluating organic-based conductive coatings used as anodes on atmospherically exposed reinforced concrete. This test method involves exposing concrete test panels coated with the organic-based conductive coating to an electrochemical test under defined laboratory conditions that are intended to simulate the conditions present when cathodic protection current discharges from the anode in a working CP system. The evaluation of the coating is based on determination of coating properties before and after the test. This standard is maintained by Task Group (TG) 045.
