Abstract

Evaluate the fire risk of materials and products containing polymers to determine their suitability for use in cleanrooms based on the 2012 NFPA 287.

Revised to include updated references, the 2012 NFPA 287: Standard Test Methods for Measurement of Flammability of Materials in Cleanrooms Using a Fire Propagation Apparatus (FPA) addresses methods for measuring the flammability characteristics of materials containing polymers that are used in cleanroom applications.
