Ann Arbor, MI and Washington, DC - October 30, 2006 Today, Thomson Scientific announced that the American Gas Association (AGA) has selected Techstreet to market and distribute AGA publications through their newly expanded online publications store at www.aga.org. The agreement makes Techstreet, a business unit of Thomson Scientific, the primary distributor of AGA publications in print and electronic format.

Members and customers who visit the AGA online store, which is operated by Techstreet, can search and order AGA publications and related codes and standards in print and downloadable PDF formats, sign up for free document alerts and learn about multi-user subscription services.

Greg S. Pruett, AGA Vice President of Communications said, "We chose Techstreet because they are an acknowledged leader in online delivery and customer service. Our members and customers will benefit from the self-serve features and functionality of the newly expanded online store, new electronic download options, free tracking alert system and multi-user web-based subscriptions. Customers will also appreciate the enhanced customer service we are now able to offer because of our partnership with Techstreet."

Pruett explained that Techstreet will operate the AGA online publications store, as well as market and sell a wide range of natural gas industry information. Customers will now be able to easily manage their account information and track purchases through the online store or the toll-free number, 1-800-699-9277.

Andrew Bank, director of Business Development at Techstreet said, "Our proven technologies satisfy the needs of engineers and their support staff by making it easy to obtain and manage the technical information they need to do their jobs. By applying our web-based tools and proven e-commerce methods to AGA's operation, we can provide a much-needed service to AGA members and customers and increase AGA's net income from publication sales."

AGA's publications division serves members and related agencies with a vast catalog of natural gas-related publications, including: books on gas appliance installation, codes and standards, new and emerging gas technologies, operating and engineering reports, manuals, software, market research and educational materials.
