Aerospace Industries Association Chooses Techstreet to Operate its New Online Store
Washington DC; Ann Arbor, MI; - September 23, 2002. The Aerospace Industries Association (AIA) announces the opening of an online information store at its web site, www.aia-aerospace.org. The new store offers easy and convenient access to all National Aerospace Standards (NAS). The store was developed through an alliance with Techstreet, a digital content delivery company that maintains and fulfills a vast amount of information for technical professionals worldwide. Techstreet will manage the AIA publications operation including customer service, order fulfillment, and online distribution.
The NAS Store offers all National Aerospace Standards including NA, NAS, NAM and NASM documents for immediate downloadable access. Additionally, visitors can also search and order over 450,000 additional titles including industry standards, technical books, materials data, market research, and professional training from publishers such as ASTM, ASME, ISO, SAE, CSA, McGraw-Hill, ASM International, and more. Orders for National Aerospace Standards can also be placed by phone, fax, and e-mail to Techstreet's customer service department.
According to Matt Williams, Director, Standardization for AIA, the association wanted to enhance access to its information. "Many visitors to our web site wish to purchase standards during their visit," Williams explains. "Our teaming with Techstreet gives us the ability to offer a dynamic online system to deliver our standards."
