ARI is a US trade association representing the manufacturers of air-conditioning products and components. ARI's certification program evaluates manufacturers' products against accepted industry-established standards. These standards are intended as guidelines for the industry and consumers. Over 70 standards and ARI Guidelines cover a wide range of air-conditioning topics including electrical/electronic diagrams, sound levels, heat pumps, condensers, water heaters, mechanical valves, thermal performance, energy efficiency and more. Many of these standards are ANSI approved.
