Scope
This document specifies recommended practices for the test and inspection of laser devices used for remote removal of foreign matter in public infrastructure equipment, which includes function and composition, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking and packaging, transportation and storage.
Purpose
The purpose of this recommended practice is to specify methods for testing and inspection of the laser devices used for remote removal of foreign matter in public infrastructure equipment installations.
